Emre Can Kuran, Bilgisayar Mühendisliği alanında yüksek lisans derecesini Harran Üniversitesi'nden almıştır. Şu anda Bandırma Onyedi Eylül Üniversitesi, Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi, Yazılım Mühendisliği Bölümü'nde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Araştırma ilgi alanları arasında derin öğrenme, tıbbi görüntü analizi, görüntü işleme ve optimizasyon algoritmaları yer almaktadır.
